Crazy

A man likes to reserve the word “crazy” for his significant other, for whenever she calls him out on his shit, or holds him accountable for his bad behaviour.

Calling a woman crazy when she expresses (emotionally) concerns about how a man has made her feel, in regards to his behaviour towards her, is a way for said man to shift responsibility and a way to disseminate his sense of superiority.

Men have long been socialized to believe that anything emotional equals femininity. And one of the worst things you can say to a man is: “What are you? A girl/woman/pussy?” Therefore, they want to stay away from expressing themselves emotionally, which makes them I’ll equipped at being able to deal with a woman’s emotions or feelings. That ignorance breeds fear, and that fear breeds an unwillingness to learn to accept emotionality as a valid expression.
